Telecon participates in the Energy 2.0 project

TELECON GALICIA, S.A. participates in the R&D called ENERGY 2.0 funded by the Xunta de Galicia, the Galician Innovation Agency and FEDER fund the European Union's Framework Programme Plug-DME.

The project ENERGY 2.0 (IN852A 2014/7) is developing a hardware/software platform oriented management MICROGRIDS. The platform will consist of two distinct but integrated elements:

1. Management Middleware MICROGRIDS. It will be open, multi-operator and enable the development of new services.

2. System M2M (Machine to Machine) that allows the middleware systems interact with intelligent measures and external control elements. This integrated infrastructure can be developed to allow various applications.

Telecon role in this project is aligned with the company's strategy to position itself as a leader in the market for Smart Grids. In this case Telecon develops hardware and software for a new concept of PLC communications hub.

For the execution of this project, he has been granted an aid of EUR 128,448.60 within the Connect Peme (IN852A 2014/7), which is co-funded by FEDER (European Regional Development Fund) program, under the program Operating ERDF Galicia 2007-2013.

Smart City services platform

SIMECON Project

The SIMECON project pursues the aim of creating a mart services platform for Smart City, allowing users as well as water and electricity Utilities to have available new tools for rendering services and the efficient use of resources.

The project has been financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism within the National Plan for Scientific Research, development and Technological Innovation 2008 - 2011 under dossier number TSI-020601-2012-18. This project is carried out in cooperation between Telecon Galicia S.A., Eléctrica de Moscoso, S.L. and Electrotelecon Ingenieros S.L.

Treatment of advanced oxidation of contaminants in water
and monitoring via integrated optical sensors - ITC-20133080

ACACIA Project

The purpose of the project is to develop ACACIA treatment system advanced oxidation of contaminants in water and its monitoring by optical biosensor. In this case, the objective pursued not only the development of the biosensor, but also remote management platform and integration with plant systems.

This is a project funded by the CDTI in the INTERCONNECTA ERDF program, ITC-file number 20133080. The consortium is joined by COPASA, CIENYTECH, GEFICO, NANOINMUNOTECH, TELECON and AIMEN.
